Movie Nights
BGSO hosts multiple movie nights a year! Contact the Activities Chair with questions and film suggestions!
BGSO Halloween Party
Come dressed in your best costume! Date, time, and place will be notified via email to all students. Free pizza, soda, apple cider, and fall themed treats. A costume contest will take place with gift cards and other prizes for the winners. Votes for the contest are in the form of canned goods and cash, all of which is donated to the South Bend Center for the Homeless.
BGSO Welcome Picnic
Graduate students, staff, and faculty can drop by for a free burger, brat, hot dog, etc. Usually held on the lawn in front of Galvin Life Sciences on the first week of classes during Fall semester!
BGSO Mini Trips
As fun as life can be under the dome, sometimes its nice to escape and go somewhere outside of South Bend for a while. Below are some of the trips we have done in the last couple years.

ND Football BGSO Tailgate
This is Notre Dame, after all. Home of Rudy, Rockne, and the most college football championships. Tailgating is the warm-up party with da brats and da burgers. We have an official tailgate with grills before every home game. Stop on by and start the sizzle!
Orientation and Interview Weekends
BGSO hosts several social events during interview and orientation weekends which include bar mingles with free food, summer olympics, and cookouts.
South Bend Cubs Baseball
Every year we take a trip to see South Bend's minor league baseball team have at it! Tickets, food, and drinks. Where's my Peanuts and Cracker Jacks? It's game time.
